Immunization Information

Vaccines are considered one of the top 10 medical achievements of the 20th century. An estimated 20 million lives have been saved in the last two decades. Vaccination must continue unless the disease is eliminated globally.

Idaho State Requirements for Vaccinations

The Idaho School Immunization Law requires that children be up-to-date on their immunizations (shots) to attend school. Diseases like measles and whooping cough spread quickly, so children need to be protected before they enter. Most children need booster shots before starting kindergarten.
