  • Word Walls
    • Great for reviewing content vocabulary
    • Revisit the word wall frequently during a lesson or unit
    • Encourage students to use the vocabulary in their writing or discussions
    • Limit the number of words used to only those of greatest importance
    • Use large letters so the words are easily readable
    • Display only one word wall in the classroom - avoid a clutter effect
    • Have students help eliminate words that are no longer needed on the wall to keep the number of words reasonable
