Samples
- Word Walls
- Great for reviewing content vocabulary
- Revisit the word wall frequently during a lesson or unit
- Encourage students to use the vocabulary in their writing or discussions
- Limit the number of words used to only those of greatest importance
- Use large letters so the words are easily readable
- Display only one word wall in the classroom - avoid a clutter effect
- Have students help eliminate words that are no longer needed on the wall to keep the number of words reasonable
