Usernames for Elementary and Middle school students are: first four letters of last name + four-digit Lumen ID. Teachers will give students their passwords.

Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol - SIOP

The SIOP model - developed by Echevarria, Vogt, and Short - provides a framework of high quality instruction for English Language Learners in content area teaching. Homedale School District has adopted SIOP as a means of organizing teaching methods and techniques and ensuring that effective practices are implemented in every classroom.

Along with in-district training and materials, this site will provide resources for staff members as they implement SIOP across the curriculum.
