Asked Questions |
|
What is the difference between a content
and language objective? |
| |
A content
objective addresses a state standard that
is necessary to cover for that subject area
and is written using measurable verbs. A language
objective addresses how you will reach the
content objective. It involves the four aspects
of communication: listening, speaking, reading
and writing.

How do you keep students on task during
the interaction component? |
| |
It is very
important that the interaction activity is
scaffolded into easy to understand steps.
Students need to be given a goal to accomplish.
It is also important that the teacher moves
from group to group and interacts with the
groups to make sure students are progressing
accordingly. The teacher can set up some sort
of a point system to award the groups that
are on task and attaining the goal that is
set before them. |
